  • Defended U.S. Sugar in shareholder and ERISA class actions regarding a $1.7-billion sale of assets to Florida.

  • Represented Republic Services against Waste Management to enforce contracts implementing antitrust decrees.

    Kravis & Roberts.
  • Assisted Tyson Foods in its $1-billion battle with ConAgra for control of
    Holly Farms.
  • Represented Robert Maxwell in a $1.2-billion takeover battle with Kohlberg, Kravis & Roberts for control of
    Macmillan Publishing.
